If Bluetooth disappears from Windows 11, the adapter may be disabled, the driver may have failed, or a required service may not be running.
Method 1: Check Bluetooth settings
Open Settings > Bluetooth & devices. If Bluetooth is missing completely, continue with the next steps.
Method 2: Check Device Manager
Open Device Manager and look for Bluetooth. If the adapter is disabled, right-click it and select Enable device.
Method 3: Restart Bluetooth services
Press Windows + R, enter services.msc, and restart Bluetooth Support Service if it is available.
Method 4: Update the driver
In Device Manager, update the Bluetooth driver. If Windows cannot find one, use the laptop or motherboard manufacturer’s official support page.
Method 5: Restart Windows
Restart the computer and check Bluetooth again.
Final tip
USB Bluetooth adapters can also be tested on desktop PCs if the computer has no built-in Bluetooth hardware.
